Coming Soon: The Return of the Backseat Blanket
A Pierrepont Hicks × Swans Island Collaboration
A long time ago, I designed a heritage style, striped blanket with a mill in Minnesota called Faribault. It was bright and bold, and I loved creating it with them. It was picked up by Terrain, which was an honor and a shock. I was thrilled. It lead to two more colorways. A few of my friends have asked me over the years about more textiles. I have always had a hankering to do it again.
Here we are reloading Pierrepont Hicks 2.0, and I found myself yearning for another version of the blanket. My proximity and love for Maine drew me over to Swans Island Co. The good folks there have entertained me on this journey, and we are in the final throes (get it?) of creating this next "Backseat Blanket" for PH.
Stay tuned, and follow on Instagram to be notified when it drops in May. It will be the same colorways, in its own Swans style. And made entirely in Maine by hand.

Yes! I remember this blanket, I love it!
